From 10 to 12 September 2025, the YUFE Alliance was proud to take part in the EAIE Conference and Exhibition in Gothenburg, the largest annual event in international higher education. Together with more than 7,000 participants from across the world, YUFE showcased its vision of a truly open and connected European University.
At booth P42, each of YUFE’s ten partner universities was represented, offering visitors a direct point of contact to learn more about their programmes and opportunities. This unique setup allowed stakeholders to meet and engage personally with the people behind YUFE, creating meaningful links between our universities and the wider higher education community.
The booth also served as a space of gathering, where partner universities could meet each other, exchange experiences, and strengthen the relationships that sustain the Alliance. From presentations on civic engagement, lifelong learning, mobility and research, the stand embodied the YUFE spirit of exchange, discovery, and collaboration.
Over the course of three days, YUFE hosted ten spotlight sessions of our academic partners, showcasing how YUFE enables students, staff, and researchers to go beyond borders. In addition, the dedicated YUFE Meet & Greet brought together partners, visitors, and peers from other European University alliances in a lively atmosphere of connection and dialogue.
In total, the YUFE stand connected around 200 people with universities, European universities alliances and organisations from around the globe, demonstrating YUFE’s role not only in connecting Europe but also in building bridges worldwide.
