Passing the Baton: The YUFE Research Relay for Horizon Europe is here again, now focusing in Cluster 1,3 and 5 Calls
We are excited to announce the second edition of YUFE Research Relay, a dynamic two-phase event designed to help researchers from across the YUFE Alliance collaboratively craft exceptional proposals for Horizon Europe funding. This event builds upon insights gathered from an internal survey, which showed strong interest from over 600 researchers across YUFE universities. Like runners passing a baton in a relay race, researchers will build on each other’s strengths, knowledge, and creativity to produce competitive proposals for Clusters 1,3 and 5 of Horizon Europe.
Relay Phase One: Online Workshops (February-May)
This online training, opened to everyone, provides researchers with foundational insights into crafting impactful Concept Notes. Emphasizing Excellence, Impact, and Implementation, the three critical elements of successful Horizon Europe proposals. Participants will collaborate intensively, guided by expert coaches. At the end of this stage, teams will submit their Concept Notes for evaluation.
Relay Phase Two: Summer school Training (June 22-26)
30 selected participants will gather in Madrid for personalized, in-depth training at Universidad Carlos III. This in-person sessions will offer participants specialized feedback, advanced proposal-writing techniques, and strategic insights boosting their proposal’s potential for success, along with the cross-cutting skills needed to effectively lead an international consortium.
