As part of the Responsible, Interdisciplinary and Inclusive Research, the University of Cyprus is organising a one-day hybrid training event on Responsible Research Practices for PhD candidates and early-career researchers.
The training will take place on 3 November 2025 at the University of Cyprus and will be open to all researchers across YUFE partner universities. Sessions will cover open science, research integrity, legal and ethical frameworks, and citizen engagement in research.
Programme (EET):
- 09:45 – 10:00 – Welcome Speech – Dr. Marios Demetriades
- 10:00–11:15 – Open Science in Practice – Ms. Sylvia Koukounidou
- 11:15–12:30 – Responsible Research and Scientific Integrity – Prof. Zacharias Maniadis
- 12:30–13:00 – Lunch Break
- 13:00–14:15 – Legal and Ethical Frameworks in Research – Dr. Georgia Charalambidou
- 14:15–15:30 – Engaging Citizens in Research – Mr. Panagiotis Moiras
The event will be conducted in a hybrid format. A live participation link will be shared with all registered participants, and recordings of the lectures will later be made available through the YUFE webpage for future use.
