YUFE Community Engagement Activities - active citizenship-related actions in which universities and cities work together to develop solutions to local challenges, many of which are also of European and global relevance.

YUFE Community Engagement Training
This training that introduces students to the YUFE Civic Star idea, explains why universities are interested in civic engagement and helps students to recognise and make visible the different competences gained through participation in activities for the community. The training is aimed at students who have already decided to obtain a YUFE Civic Star by participating in either the YUFE Help Desks, Community Volunteering Programme or YUFE Friend Programme or those just considering the possibility.

YUFE Civic Star Personal Development Plan
Is an online form that allows students to answer questions about their motivation for taking a Civic Engagement Activity and then reflect on what they have learned and gained from completing the activity.

YUFE Community Volunteering Programme
Is one of the YUFE Community Engagement Activities aimed at students who wish to work for the local community. The scope of duties depends on the place where the activity is carried out and may include, e.g., providing educational support to local children, teenagers, and residents, helping to plan, run, and follow up on community service events, keeping seniors company for some time, or supporting families with children with disabilities during summertime.
