YUFE Brussels Diaries: Our Interns’ Perspective

12 February 2026

Our interns are the driving force behind the YUFE Central Office in Brussels, the strategic heart of our Alliance. As they work alongside our international team to build the European University of the Future, their fresh perspectives and dedication help turn our vision into reality.

We are very grateful for the dedication, proactive spirit, and fresh perspectives each intern brings to our Brussels office. As they move on to new challenges, we wish them all the best in their future endeavors, knowing they carry the YUFE spirit of European collaboration with them.

Curious about life at the center of YUFE?

Read on to discover what our recent interns have to say about their experience in the Brussels “bubble” and how it has shaped their professional journey:

I’m very grateful to have been part of such a dynamic team and exciting project. I had the opportunity to work on several initiatives and gained valuable experience and skills working both independently and in team, developing communication strategies, creating targeted content, editing videos and analyzing data from surveys and interviews. As a personal project, I launched my own campaign, taking an idea from concept to implementation and gaining confidence and autonomy in the process. I especially enjoyed contributing to our impact assessment and presenting some of our findings in Paris. Working in Brussels with such a supportive team made this a rewarding first professional experience, which I will cherish fondly.

Ludivine Musyck – Fall 2025

I finished my studies in Spain and wanted to professionalize in my field, so I started looking for opportunities across Europe. When I saw the YUFE vacancy, where I had done an exchange a few years ago, I immediately applied. Working at the Central Office confirmed everything I expected: an international, young and supportive team that encourages autonomy. I mainly worked in Communications, learning about social media strategy, but also contributed to the intranet, reporting and dissemination, and a personal project requested by the team. I chose to create a promotional animated video, which was especially rewarding. This internship has been professionally enriching and a strong starting point for my career, all thanks to an amazing team that are passionate about their work!
