The European Researchers’ Night on 25 September marks the launch of the YUFE Academy Autumn edition, which this year runs until November.
Our programme includes not only fascinating lectures on cancer treatment, online influencers, and the impact of food on our health, but also a creative writing workshop in Bremen, a timely “3 in 1” session, and two hybrid events.
On 20 October, the online session Young Scientists on a Social Mission II – Tackling Urban Challenges and Opportunities will present three outstanding YUFE4PostDocs researchers from three different YUFE partner universities. They will share research that helps us build more sustainable cities, protect fragile ecosystems, and rethink how societies respond to global challenges.
On 26 October, participants can join either in person or online for the YUFE Academy Event 2026, organised by Maastricht University under the theme Confessing to a Crime You Did Not Commit: The Psychology of False Confessions. The event offers valuable insights, particularly for those wondering how innocent people may end up being convicted, and how it is possible for someone to confess to a crime they did not commit.
On 9 November, YUFE Academy will collaborate with the YUFE International Café and Skills of the Future Programme to offer a session on Multigenerational Communication. This rare opportunity is provided by the University of the Third Age at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń.
