Associate Professor Volodymyr Ustymenko and PhD student Illia Tsyhanenko-Dziubenko, both at the Department of Ecology and Environmental Technologies at Zhytomyr Polytechnic State University, Ukraine, will lead a discussion on the impacts on and resulting challenges for forest and water ecosystems after three years of war in the Ukraine.
They will present the war’s effects on forest ecosystems, from habitat loss to long-term disruptions in growth and biodiversity.
