Do you know learning analytics? Are you curious about learning design? What happens when evidence from learning informs design decisions in teaching?
This course introduces how learning analytics can be used to support learning design and enhance teaching and learning. As digital learning environments become a core part of higher education, they generate data that can inform pedagogically meaningful, evidence-informed teaching practices. While the potential of learning analytics is widely recognised, its use in everyday teaching is still emerging.
The online workshops are designed for academic staff with teaching responsibilities and follow a flipped learning approach. Participants engage with pre-study materials and explore real-world cases during the workshops, gaining practical ideas for using learning analytics to develop their own teaching practices.
