Want to get socially involved with YUFE?
This training is the perfect first step!
The Civic Engagement Activities Intro Training for Students is an online session that will introduce you to the concept of the YUFE Civic Star and guide you through the process of applying for it. You’ll discover why civic engagement matters to universities and to YUFE, how to recognize and showcase the competencies you develop through community activities.
This training is designed both for students who are already planning to earn their YUFE Civic Star through participation in YUFE Help Desks or the Community Volunteering Programme, and for those who are simply curious to learn more.
Please note: Participation in one Intro Training session is mandatory for obtaining the YUFE Civic Star.
The Civic Star requires a minimum total workload of 50 hours, including:
- Attending this training;
- Completing a YUFE civic engagement activity (Help Desk or Community Volunteering Programme) and submitting your timesheet;
- Filling in the YUFE Civic Star Reflection Report.
