
We are pleased to announce the selection of six scientific collaboration projects and the arrival of three postdoctoral researchers as part of the “USN-YUFE” calls launched in February 2025.
These calls aim to strengthen the dynamic of cooperation within the European alliance YUFE, chaired by Sorbonne Nouvelle for a two-year term starting in September 2024. Funded through support credits granted to French universities that are members of a European alliance under the “France 2030” plan, this initiative seeks to foster the development of joint research projects and to welcome young international researchers into our laboratories.

Welcoming New Postdoctoral Researchers:
We are also pleased to welcome three international postdoctoral researchers, who will soon join our research laboratories for a two-year period. Their work will help enhance the scientific impact of the research carried out at our university and by our partners in the Alliance:
- Kelly Appelt will join FIRL, under the supervision of Marine Roussillon and co-supervision of Delphine Calle (from the Antwerp Centre for Digital Humanities and Literary Criticism at the University of Antwerp)
- Research Project Title: A Beautiful Mind: Libertinism and Action through the Figure of Ninon de Lenclos and Her Writings
- Simone Bernardi Della Rosa will join IRMÉCCEN, under the supervision of Alberto Romele and co-supervision of Darryl Cressman (from the Philosophy Department at Maastricht University)

- Rachel Howard will join CREDA and LACITO, under the supervision of Franck Poupeau and James Costa, and co-supervision of Andrea Muehlebach (from the Department of Anthropology and Cultural Research at the University of Bremen)

These scientific collaborations and the arrival of new colleagues demonstrate Sorbonne Nouvelle’s strong commitment to the YUFE Alliance and its ambition to build open and innovative research. They also reflect the scientific vitality of our academic communities and contribute to enriching the exchanges taking place within YUFE.
