Languages Courses in OpenYUFE: Register Now for 2025-2026 !

13 May 2025

Registrations are now open for the OpenYUFE language courses starting in semester I of the academic year 2025-2026.

Not yet an OpenYUFE student? Read more about it and create your account on Virtual Campus. For 4 semesters, you will have access to a wide range of academic courses, language courses and activities, civic engagement activities, professional training activities, YUFE Academy lectures and induction courses. OpenYUFE happens at 10 universities at the same time and allows you to enrich your study programme in many ways.

OpenYUFE offers you several opportunities for improving your language skills. You will find courses and activities in four different learning formats:

The Virtual Campus (VC) will guide you to choose the learning format that best suits you. Remember to use the filters (subcategory, method of delivery, etc.)!

The Sorbonne Nouvelle University offers the self-study modules in English, French and Spanish. You can be enrolled in a maximum of 3 modules at a time. Upon completing these, you can apply for more modules. Access to the self-study modules requires an iCampus activation, which is available between September and March.

You can combine up to 2 enrolments per semester for the other language courses and activities. When the maximum number of seats in a course is reached, you will be put on the waiting list. If you change your mind or if you discover a conflict in your course schedule, you can withdraw before the registration deadline and switch to another course or activity. Don’t forget to do so, as you will help your fellow students on the waiting list to access the language course of their choice. If you maintain your registration and don’t show up in class, you will not be allowed to enrol for a language course or activity in the next semester.

In short, the YUFE language courses and activities are popular, and we want to ensure fair access to resources and opportunities for all students. So choose wisely and let’s optimise the access to the language offer together!
