Two competitive YUFE4Postdocs calls resulted in the appointment of 55 excellent international incoming postdoctoral researchers at nine of the YUFE universities.

The YUFE4Postdocs are appointed for 3 years and conduct research in a wide range of disciplines linked to urban challenges and opportunities. Thirteen developed their projects within the focus area of Sustainability and 10 within the area of Digital Societies.
The YUFE4Postdocs program is led by the University of Antwerp and the postdocs will be attending an interactive two-day in-person training workshop in Antwerp at the end of November. This is part of a training package featuring stakeholder engagement seminars and a variety of online joint transferrable skills training sessions. This will help them to become future- proof researchers, building bridges between academia and society.
