Maastricht University has more than 22,000 students, 57% of whom are foreign students. The university, which is known for its teaching method of problem-based learning (PBL), employs more than 4,000 staff.

Spain

UC3M is an innovative public university with a strong focus on research. UC3M´s mission is to contribute to improving society through teaching of the highest quality and cutting-edge research. It has more than 24,000 students, 20% international students.

Its activities are guided by the values of merit, ability, efficiency, transparency, equity, equality, and respect for the environment.

University of Eastern Finland

Finland

The University is located in two campus cities, Joensuu and Kuopio. With nearly 100 major subjects to offer it is the most multidisciplinary university in Finland. UEF’s 16,000 degree students, 16,600 adult education students, and 3,200 employees from 110 nationalities form an international community.

Croatia

The University of Rijeka is located in the City of Rijeka, the third largest city in Croatia and the main Croatian port. As one of the largest universities in the region, it comprises 12 Faculties and 4 Departments, which offer more than 172 accredited study programs. 

UNIRI prioritizes scientific, artistic, and developmental research aligned with Croatia's strategic interests, emphasizing sustainable community development.

Cyprus

The UCY, based in Nicosia, the capital of the Republic of Cyprus, is a modern, diverse, and evolving student-centered institution that opened in 1989. It has around 7,000 students and 820 faculty and staff members.  

The University of Cyprus aims to establish itself as a Pioneer Research Institution achieving international scientific recognition in European higher education, offering Competitive Programmes, and becoming a Centre of Excellence in the wider Euro–Mediterranean region.

Belgium

The UAntwerp offers 154 programmes for more than 23,000 students and employs nearly 7000 people.

France

Since 1970, the Sorbonne Nouvelle has been an autonomous university specialised in the Arts, Languages, letters, and Social Science. The learning experience is based on internationally renowned research.

The university aims to be consistent in research, teaching, and internationalisation through its strategic partners. It has around 17,000 students, a quarter of whom are foreigners from more than 146 different countries.
